Thursday Night Vernissage
Sam Dobrow’s much anticipated Parallel Worlds exhibit at the Wirtz Gallery officially opens Thursday night, November 7, at 5:30 PM. Dobrow’s exhibit takes visitors down a path of parallel worlds. On one side, Dobrow’s Surreality Collection depicts numerous fantasy worlds created from digital manipulations of his photographs. These images may evoke memory of hallucinatory experiences while transporting viewers to a whimsical fantasy world. On the parallel wall, Viewers can step into some of the world’s most beautiful scenes from the Windows To The World Collection of panoramic landscapes. These ultra high resolution photographs wrap themselves around the viewer giving the feeling of walking into the picture. Together, Parallel Worlds, offers art enthusiasts an exhilarating and memorable experience. All artwork at the exhibit is available for purchase.
Meet Sam Dobrow at the Wirtz Gallery
Sam will be greeting guests during the opening night wine reception. He will be signing copies of the 28 page, limited edition, program guide which presents full color reproductions of several works by Sam Dobrow in addition to a curatorial review of Dobrow’s exhibit by art consultant, Lilia Garcia, and a probing interview of Sam by his friend and renowned photographer Mark Maio.
