Just Released: Geothermal Area #2

About this Beautiful Work of Art

This lovely view of Iceland’s remote wilderness area in the highlands is known as the “Geothermal Area”. The Highlands are only accessible in summer as the winter cold, snow and ice make passage extremely dangerous. Hot steam rises from geothermal vents and the water can be scalding hot in areas. The beautiful gold tones come from minerals such as iron and sulfur. The area has been made accessible through the installation of stairs which allow visitors to access the areas without disturbing the colorful mineral deposits. This photo was made with a drone camera and carefully enlarged (30″ x 55″) to preserve the smallest details; its the kind of picture you can walk right into and get lost. The few people in the scene add a real sense of excitement and adventure as you can imagine yourself exploring this virtually untouched wilderness.

Add beautiful earth tones and an epic adventure scene to your favorite room! This hand signed print face mounted on acrylic glass can be yours for $5485 (custom frame available). [Inquire]
