Prepare to be captivated this November as The Wirtz Gallery hosts the largest public exhibition to date of the renowned photographic artist Sam Dobrow. Scheduled to open on November 7, 2024, and closing on November 26, 2024, this monumental event promises an exclusive peek into Dobrow’s imaginative worlds through two major art collections: the Surreality Collection and the newly minted Windows To The World Collection.

Artwork and Theme

The exhibit offers visitors a unique dual experience. The Surreality Collection features fifteen intricately manipulated photographs that take viewers into surreal visions of altered reality or parallel universes. These compelling images challenge perceptions and invite you to lose yourself in their dreamlike qualities.

In contrast, the Windows To The World Collection presents eleven large panoramic landscapes. Each ultra-high resolution image is meticulously stitched together from numerous frames to create expansive scenes, some larger than a picture window, and at least twice as wide as they are tall. These panoramas offer a breathtaking window to the vast beauty of the world.

Venue and Special Offers

The Wirtz Gallery, known for its selective invitation-based exhibitions, is proud to feature Sam Dobrow’s work among their twelve annual shows. Attendees can also take advantage of special sales incentives throughout the exhibit. For every panorama purchased from the Windows To The World Collection, there’s a charitable donation of $100 to the National Parks Foundation. Additionally, Sam Dobrow will donate $100 to the Miami Design Preservation League for each work purchased from the Surreality Collection. Local buyers will benefit from free delivery and installation, and those purchasing over $2000 from Dobrow’s website will receive a $250 rebate.
