Miami Art Week aka Art Basel is Almost Here!
The ultimate south Florida luxury just made its debut in Miami, cooler and drier weather with ample sunshine and mild breezes. When Chicago and New York get their first blizzards, we sit on Ocean Drive sipping mojitos. Besides being an artist community, this weather is one of the key reasons I live in Coconut Grove. When the first sign of “winter” in Miami debuts, its a reminder that Thanksgiving is almost here and then just around the corner is Art Week and the Christmas/Hanukkah holidays. Everyone starts looking for that special gift, perhaps a new piece of art for the home, and Miami Art Week is the place to get it. With so many Art Fairs and visitors in town, it can be daunting to see everything, evaluate the options, and buy that special piece of art before someone else gets it. But don’t stress, I have an opportunity to help make your search a little easier with an added bonus for early shopping.
Miami Spectrum Previews
In the days running up to opening night at Spectrum Miami, where I am exhibiting, I’ll be sending out a few emails featuring some of the key artwork which will be on exhibition in my booth at Spectrum Miami. I hope you’ll find these emails informative and further entice you to visit the show, not just for my art, but to see an amazing collection from all the participating artists. I encourage you to shop my online gallery to see many more works of art than is possible to show at Spectrum. And the big bonus… I will include a signed copy of my new 110 page, 12″ x 12″ photo book “Orient Expression” for any orders at least $1950 placed before opening night at 6 PM on December 4, 2019. Plus an extra bonus for local patrons within 25 miles of the show, home delivery and hanging before Christmas Day.
Solstacia II
And you’re probably wondering about that work of art at the top of this email… It’s called Solstacia II. The original photo was taken on the day of the Winter Solstace in Miami. It presents the beautiful winters in Miami Beach with a whimsical and playful surrealistic rendition. Unfortunately, this work is quite large 30″ x 60″ and won’t be on display but you can own it (#10 in the Oceana Series).
Free Tickets to Spectrum Miami
Well, the VIP tickets went fast! Thats good news for the early birds who got their tickets and bad news for those who didn’t jump on it. But there is more good news, I was able to get a second allotment of VIP tickets. If you missed the first allotment, click [here] to make your request while they last. For those who visit my booth #S-616, there will be a drawing for a special work of art but you can’t participate if you don’t come to the booth… see you there!
