This video is an edited version of the live broadcast from October 24.

Paris to Marrakech is about a journey from the modern, progressive culture of Paris France through Spain and Portugal and into Morrocco. The journey overlapped with the month of Ramadan which provided a strong contrast between western and Islamic culture. Join Sam Dobrow as he shares with you the cultural journey he took with his youngest daughter, Jordan, upon her graduation from high school.

Atlanta Celebrates Photography is a non-profit arts organization dedicated to the cultivation of the photographic arts and the enrichment of the Atlanta art community. ACP helps make Atlanta a leading center for the world’s fastest growing art form by creating experiences that enrich, inspire and transform. In addition to year-round programs, ACP produces the largest annual community-oriented photo festival in the United States. ACP provides experiences that engage and enrich diverse audiences utilizing the power of photography as a tool for sharing experiences, learning about our world, and creative self-expression.

Faced with the challenges of organizing a large festival in the era of COVID-19, ACP turned their attention to technology and created a virtual festival for 2020. The majority of events are online with a few socially-distanced in-person events at local venues and galleries. Please visit the ACP website to participate in a month-long online festival of events.
