I am excited to share that 10 works from my Surreality Collection will be part of the group exhibition Don’t Stop Me Now at Galería Azur NYC, located in Manhattan’s Bowery neighborhood. The show will open on October 15, 2026, and run through December 17, 2026. This is an important step in my art career, giving my work more exposure in one of the world’s top art markets during the busy holiday season.
Don’t Stop Me Now
Don’t Stop Me Now is a group show curated by Maria Belen Fernandez. The exhibition focuses on themes like energy, movement, and never stopping. It celebrates creative momentum and the feeling of living in the fast pace of New York City. The show invites visitors to think about change, risk, and the constant flow of life.
Surreality Gives Life to Architecture
My Surreality Collection fits well with these ideas. The collection changes familiar places into strange and dreamlike worlds. I use digital editing combined with architectural photos to create these scenes. The goal is to make people imagine other worlds and think about their small place in the universe. When looking at these works, viewers may feel a sense of euphoria and a disassociation from everyday life.
When I look at our world full of linear and geometric shapes, my mind wants to break them into organic forms by melting them and distorting them until the reality transforms into something magical and alive; not just blocks taking up space but the space as a living entity.

Galería Azur will show three pieces from the Surreality Collection in the gallery itself: Extraordinary Rendition at McAlpine, Sleeper Cell, and Termination at Park Central. These works connect closely with the themes of change and movement in the exhibition. In addition to the gallery pieces, there will be ten Surreality artworks shown online. The Surreality Collection has many more pieces that you can view on my website, samdobrowphotography.com.

Thank You Galeria Azur
I am thankful to Galería Azur and all the wonderful people on the team for finding my work online and inviting me to join this show. Showing in The Bowery, an area full of artistic energy and culture, makes this exhibition even more special. It matches the themes of my work about humans in the cosmos and creative energy.
This exhibition is more than just showing art; it is an invitation to step into a world of endless movement and imagination. I look forward to sharing this experience with everyone who visits.

Welcome to my world of fine art photography. Please take your time and browse through my many galleries. I have a diverse collection of beautiful photographic art. All my artwork begins in the camera before making its journey through my imagination where I process the image into something beautiful and sometimes quite surreal.
